District Vision Statement

DISTRICT VISION STATEMENT:

Unite students, staff, parents, and community, supporting each other and enabling our students to grow in all aspects of the learning process.

Graduate well-round (emotionally, physically, and academically) successful students who aspire to be college graduates, career oriented, strong family leaders, and successful professionals who will make positive contributions to society.

Extend our horizons as staff, administrators, and school board in order to provide our students the best education afforded by the district.

Provide all students enrolled at HISD the opportunity to have graduated from a school offering the best education possible within our means.

Maintain an educated board, disciplined in policies, diligent in our oversights, and unified within our team of eight as well as with the community.

Strive to have students maintain a positive and respectful attitude, prompting self- confidence, high self-esteem, and school pride.

Prepare students to adapt and meet the challenges of their new environment when promoted from one campus to the next.

Eliminate distracters by promoting a healthy and safe environment accessible to all students who want to learn, allowing them the ability to concentrate on their studies.
