All About Me
I
grew up in Hart and have lived in Hart for most of my life. I
graduated from Hart High School in 2001 then I went on to attend
South Plains College. I graduated from South Plains in May of 2004
with an associates degree in computer information systems. After a
semester off I decided to go back to college to major in teaching.
I attended Texas Tech University from January 2005 thru August 2007
and received a bachelors degree in 4-8 Math/Science
Education. I have one 5 year old son named Isaac Caleb and we
have one dog named Tech.
I began
teaching in Hart as a permanent substitute in
January of 2007, then I
received an offer to teach Jr High Math and Science the following
school year and have been teaching in Hart since then. While at
Hart High School I have taught 7th and 8th grade Math, 7th and 8th
grade Science, BCIS, 7th grade Technology, Multimedia, and Web
Mastery.
My goals for teaching are
to give my students the academic and social skills they will
need to be successful in the classroom and in life. I also hope to
provide a supportive and fun classroom environment which will help
my students to make new friends and to discover new
interests.
"What the teacher is, is more important than what she teaches."
